Forms

Use the following information to add and configure a desired from for your process.

The Web Capture component supports four types of forms:

Basic Form Settings

Basic form represents a form with standard number of options and features of the Web Capture component.

You can configure a basic form on the Basic Form Settings dialog box which contains the following tabs:

Tab name Description
General tab Use this tab to configure general properties of the form.
Fields tab Use this tab to configure a list of fields used to collect metadata about the documents.
Components tab Use this tab to configure process and route components.

Send to Email Form Settings

Send to Email form is a variation of a basic form that allows you to configure a form intended for collecting information to send documents to an email destination. This form on the Web UI contains additional fields, such as From, To, Subject, Message. These fields will be passed to the workflow as RRTs. A Send to Email form is used in conjunction with the Send to Mail Recipient eConnector and route components.

You can configure such a form on the Send To Email Form Settings dialog box which contains the following tabs:

Fields tab Use this tab to configure a list of fields used to collect metadata about the documents.
Components tab Use this tab to configure process and route components.
Send To Email Fields tab Use this tab to configure the special options for Sent To Email fields.

Send to Folder Form Settings

Send to Folder form is a variation of a basic form which is intended for collecting information to send documents to a folder destination. On the Web UI, this form will contain two standard fields: Directory and Document name. A Send to Folder form is used in conjunction with the Send to Folder and Send to Folder eConnector components.

You can configure such a form on the Send To Folder Form Settings dialog box which contains the following tabs:

Send to Folder Fields tab Use this tab to configure the special options for the Send to Folder fields.

Send to SharePoint Form Settings

Send to SharePoint form is a variation of a basic form intended for collecting information to send documents to a SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 server destination. On the Web UI, this form contains a number of fields that provide information necessary to send a document to the SharePoint Server. The fields include Site, Document Library, Folder Path, and Content Type. The form also contains the fields that correspond to the columns in the selected SharePoint library.

A Send to SharePoint form is used in conjunction with the SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint eConnector and route components.

You can configure such a form on the Send To SharePoint Form Settings dialog box which contains the following tabs:

Send to SharePoint tab Use this tab to configure the special settings of the SharePoint form fields.
Note: If you use the SharePoint component in the workflow, the documents will be sent to SharePoint under the user that is specified in the SharePoint component, not under the user that is specified on this tab.
Note: In order to use this form, either the SharePoint 2007 or SharePoint component must be installed.
