The following use case provides a sample of the component application: Scan documents from an MFP device, save directly into a web-site containing a web-form.
- Design a workflow process with two components: an MFP component that corresponds to the selected type of an MFP device, and the Send to HTTP component.
- Download the desired web-site in the Web Browser window of the Send to HTTP configuration. See Web Browser.
- In the Send to HTTP dialog box, configure field values and make sure that the address is correct. See Send to HTTP Dialog Box.
- Configure both components and start the process.
Now when the MFP user enters a preconfigured function key on the control panel of the MFP device, the scanned document is routed directly into the web service and the form fields are filled out with the configured field values.
