Image tab

Use this tab to configure document image properties as described in the following table:

Setting Description
Fit to page Specifies if the image fits on the page. If this is unspecified, no setting will be sent for this page range of the document.
Rotation Specifies the rotation angle for the image. Possible values are 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°.
X-Side 1-Image-shift Moves the location where the system prints the page image (graphics, text, data) on the physical paper on side 1 from the X-position. For example, if your text is centered on the page, specifying an image shift of 36 x 36 prints the text in the lower right of the page.
X-Side 2-Image-shift Moves the location where the system prints the page image (graphics, text, data) on the physical paper on side 2 from the X-position. For example, if your text is centered on the page, specifying an image shift of 36 x 36 will print the text in the lower right of the page.
Y-Side 1-Image-shift Moves the location where the system prints the page image (graphics, text, data) on the physical paper on side 1 from the Y-position. For example, if your text is centered on the page, specifying an image shift of 36 x 36 will print the text in the lower right of the page.
Y-Side 2-Image-shift Moves the location where the system prints the page image (graphics, text, data) on the physical paper on side 2 from the Y-position. For example, if your text is centered on the page, specifying an image shift of 36 x 36 will print the text in the lower right of the page.
ICC source profile path Specifies the ICC profile for the source. The ICC profile is a set of data that characterizes a color input device. The system uses it to translate the color from the input to the output.
Anti-aliasing Specifies if the system uses anti-aliasing to smooth distortion artifacts in the print.
Scaling factor If you set Fit to Page to No, this setting determines the size of the page as a percentage relative to the original.
ICC destination profile path Specifies the ICC profile for the destination. The ICC profile is a set of data that characterizes a color input device. The system uses it to translate the color from the input to the output.
Imposition template Enter the name of the template that defines multiple image parameters as a group for production printing.
Black overprint If you set this option to On and the printer supports the function, the printer prints solid black characters onto a color background without removing the background color from behind the characters. When supported by the printer, this function is useful when white lines appear around pure black characters.
Pure black If you set this option to On, the printer represents the color black in CMYK printing as Pure Black (K=100%).
Neutral gray Select the composite that generates neutral gray on the printer. Gray is a neutral color where R=G=B.
Halftone Set to True to simulate continuous tone imagery through the use of dots, varying either in size, in shape or in spacing.
CMYK simulation Select the simulation target to print CMYK (Cyan Magenta Yellow Black) data. If the printer supports this function, it converts CMYK data into a device-dependent CMYK color model based on the simulation target selected in the CMYK Simulation Profile.
RGB source profile Select the RGB profile (color data represented using the RGB (Red Green Blue) color model) that is appropriate for the characteristics of your monitor. This setting is relevant when printing a document containing color images or graphics made by the RGB color model.
Color matching intent Specifies the color-matching method for printing the document.
