Uninstallation using Solution Installer

This procedure steps through using Solution Installer to uninstall Chai DSE.

The uninstallation must take place in the following order.

  1. How to remove the Authentication Agent
  2. How to remove OXPd:Workflow
  3. How to remove Chai DSE components
  4. How to remove Solution Installer
  5. How to remove Chai SSL Service

How to remove the Authentication Agent

This procedure describes using Package Loader to remove the Authentication Agent.

  1. For Enter Package URL, enter the URL http://device/hp/device/this.loader in a web browser, where device is the IP address for the device.
  2. In the Reloadable Packages section, select AutoStore Auth Agent.
  3. Click Remove Selected Packages.
The message that the Authentication Agent has been unloaded will be displayed.

How to remove OXPd:Workflow

This procedure describes using Solution Installer to remove the OXPd:Workflow components.

  1. To access the OXPd:SolutionInstaller User Interface web page, enter the following URL in a web browser:
    • http://Autostore_server_IP_address:3233/HPDS2/Install
  2. In another browser window open the following URL:
    • http://device_ip/hp/device/hp.OXPdSolutionInstaller
  3. On the web page, find the application ID (AppID) of OXPd:Workflow.
    There may be several applications installed onto the device. The application ID (AppID) is displayed immediately below the application name. Check to make sure the right application ID is being selected.
  4. Copy application ID from the web page and paste it into the AppID field in UninstallApp section of the page you opened in step 1 of this procedure.
  5. Click UninstallApp to uninstall the application.
The message 202 Accepted is displayed after the application has been uninstalled successfully and the MFP is rebooted.

How to remove Chai DSE components

This procedure describes using Solution Installer to remove the Chai DSE components.

The OXPd:Workflow components must be uninstalled before you perform the procedure. The Chai DSE components can be uninstalled only after the OXPd:Workflow components are uninstalled.
This procedure follows the same steps as How to remove OXPd:Workflow, except that you locate the application ID of Chai Digital Send Enablers instead of OXPd Workflow.
  1. To access the OXPd:SolutionInstaller User Interface web page, enter the following web address into the browser:
    • http://Autostore_Server_IP_address:3233/HPDS2/Install
  2. In another browser window open the following URL:
    • http://device ip/hp/device/hp.OXPdSolutionInstaller
  3. On the web page, find the application ID (AppID) of Chai Digital Send Enablers.
    There may be several applications installed onto the device. The application ID (AppID) is displayed immediately below the application name. Check to make sure the right application ID is being selected.
  4. Copy application ID from the web page and paste it into the AppID field in UninstallApp section of the page you opened in step 1 of this procedure.
  5. Click UninstallApp to uninstall the application.
The message 202 Accepted is displayed after the application has been uninstalled successfully and the MFP is rebooted.

How to remove Solution Installer

This procedure describes using Package Loader to remove the Solution Installer.

  1. In a web browser, enter the URL http://device_ip/hp/device/this.loader, where device_ip is the IP address for the device.
  2. In the Reloadable Packages section, select OXPd:SolutionInstaller.
  3. Click Remove Selected Packages.
This displays the message OXPd:SolutionInstaller unloaded.

How to remove Chai SSL Service

This procedure describes using Package Loader to remove the Chai SSL Service.

  1. In a web browser, enter the URL http://device_ip/hp/device/this.loader, where device_ip is the IP address for the device.
  2. In the Reloadable Packages section, select Chai SSL Service.
  3. Click Remove Selected Packages.
This displays the message ChaiSSLConfig unloaded.
