Help

You can access help for AutoStore stored either offline on your AutoStore server or online using your Internet browser.

Properties dialogs for AutoStore components have a Help button that you can click for help about the component. You can also view the contents for the AutoStore help.

To view help contents Do this
Offline for components that are installed on your system
  • On Home tab of AutoStore Process Designer ribbon, either click the Help button or click the Help Contents menu, and then click Help Offline.
Online through the Internet
  • On Home tab of AutoStore Process Designer ribbon, click the Help Contents menu, and then click Help Online.

Offline help is installed with the AutoStore server and is updated with product updates or releases. It provides quick access to information about components installed on your AutoStore server and does not rely on an Internet connection.

Online help is stored on the Notable Solutions website, so it requires Internet access. It is periodically updated with incremental corrections or improvements or with customer feedback. It provides content for all components rather than just those that are installed on your AutoStore server.

Component helps are merged in a single table of contents that allows you to browse and search help contents for installed components. Search results are identified by component.

Note: The online help will display help for AutoStore 6.0 SP1 until the general AutoStore 7.0 release.
